Current projects
- Archaeological evidence of habitation and cohabitation in southern Transylvania in the 8-13th centuries. Spirituality and material culture in Transylvania - rite and ritual, worship monuments. In collaboration with Aurel Dragotă, "Lucian Blaga" University of Sibiu; George Tomegea, Astra Museum Sibiu; Prof. Vida Tivadar, Eötvös Loránd University Budapest and Mathias Beer, Institute of Danube Swabian History and Regional Studies, Tübingen.

- Medieval settlements (12th century) in the Secaş valley. Toponymy and habitat – In collaboration with Aurel Dragotă, Sebastian Corneanu, Gheorghe Natea, Claudia Urduzia, George Tomegea, Beatrice Kelemen and Prof. Vida Tivadar.
Prof. Zeno Karl Pinter attended the courses of the Faculty of Philology and History of the Sibiu Institute of Higher Education, specializing in History and German studies. In 1997, he defended the doctoral thesis entitled "The medieval broadsword and backsword in Transylvania and Banat. 9-14th centuries".
