Historical Bibliography of Romanian Towns
2013–2017

The Historical Bibliography of Romanian Towns, published in 2008, followed by the Historical Bibliography of Romanian Towns 2007–2012, are working instruments useful to all those interested in Romanian urban history, but they do not mention the works published after 2012. The Local History section from the Romanian Historiographic Yearbook is highly selective and after the publishing surge that we witnessed in the recent years an updated specialized bibliography is required.

The Commission for the History of Romanian Towns considered it necessary to continue this project in order to update the information and to supplement it with the bibliography of newly declared urban settlements. The Historical Bibliography of Romanian Towns 2013-2017 will allow us to follow the recent historiographic trends and stimulate the research in a deficient area.
